The
ShiatsuTreatment will
always begin with a discussion about you. All information you provide
is treated with the strictest of confidence. The Cougar Spirit practitioner
interprets this information from both a western and oriental perspective
and together with you will establish a course of remedial treatments
to be followed. With Shiatsu you will remain fully clothed throughout
your treatment, laying on the floor on a thick futon or a massage table,
whichever is more comfortable for you.The usual length of a treatment
is 60 minutes. However the first session could be 60 to 90 minutes to
accommodate the taking of a full medical history.The number of treatments
you will require is not fixed. It will be determined by factors like,
how you respond to Shiatsu and how long the pain or imbalance has been
around. After 3 or 4 sessions we review how Shiatsu has been helping
you and agree to continue to the next checkpoint.

Guidelines

Please wear loose fitting clothes including socks (preferably all of
natural fiber such as cotton).

Try not to eat large meals within 2 hours of your appointment.
·
Refrain from drinking alcohol before and after your appointment.
·
Avoid strenuous physical exercises or saunas immediately after and before
treatment.
·
Please be punctual and respect the time of the other client awaiting
their treatment after you.
